To help us help you, please include your device model, your iOS version, and the NextUp app version (Settings → About → Version), along with a short description of what happened.

Frequently Asked Questions

I can’t sign in

NextUp supports Sign in with Apple and email sign-in. If you use Sign in with Apple, make sure you’re signed in to the same Apple Account on your device. If an email sign-in isn’t working, double-check the address you registered with. Still stuck? Email support@next-up.app and we’ll sort it out.

A show is missing or has the wrong information

Show titles, artwork, and episode data come from The Movie Database (TMDB). If something is missing or incorrect, it’s usually a gap in the source data. Let us know which show and what’s wrong at support@next-up.app and we’ll look into it.

A share link didn’t open the app

Links like next-up.app/show/… open directly in NextUp when the app is installed, and otherwise show a web preview. If a link opens the website instead of the app, make sure NextUp is installed and up to date, then try opening the link again.

I’m not getting notifications

Check that notifications are enabled both in NextUp (Settings → Notifications) and system-wide in iOS Settings → Notifications → NextUp. New-episode alerts only arrive for shows you follow.

Who can see my activity?

You control this in Settings → Privacy. You can make your account private and set who can see your watch history, library, ratings, and notes — Everyone, Followers, or Only Me. You can also block any user to hide your profile from them and theirs from you. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.

How do I report another user or content?

Use the report control in the app to flag a user or content for review. NextUp has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior, and we aim to act on reports within 24 hours. See our Terms of Service for details.

Managing Your Account & Data

Delete your watch history

You can clear your watch history without deleting your account from Settings → Data & Privacy → “Delete All Watch History.”

Delete your account

You can permanently delete your NextUp account directly in the app from Settings → Data & Privacy → “Delete Account.” Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, username, followed shows, watch history, lists, ratings, notes, reactions, and your follower/following relationships. This cannot be undone.
